Terence Beringhs is a partner at GVBG Advogados and his practice is focused on business law, specifically in corporate and contract areas, including M&A, restructurings, joint ventures, and foreign investments. Before founding GVBG Advogados, Terence was a partner at a renowned law firm and worked in the United States in the area of corporate law and capital markets at Chadbourne & Parke LLP (New York, USA), currently Norton Rose Fulbright, from 2014 to 2016. In Brazil, also worked at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados for more than 7 years.
Terence holds a master’s degree in law from the University of California – Berkeley School of Law (Berkeley, USA – LL.M. 2014); specialist in tax law at the Universidade de São Paulo Law School – USP (2010); Law degree at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2008); and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the School of Economics and Administration of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – FEA – PUC/SP (2002).
