Rodrigo Gomes Cardim de Gil

Rodrigo Gomes Cardim de Gil is a partner at GVBG Advogados, and his practice is specialized in tax matters related to the planning of M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, capital markets, and project financing. Rodrigo also represents clients in the conduct of administrative and judicial proceedings in tax matters, advises national and international clients in the preparation of executive compensation plans, and has solid experience in structuring estate and succession planning.

Before founding GVBG Advogados, Rodrigo was a partner in a renowned law firm and worked for more than 6 years at Souza, Cescon, Barrieu & Flesch Advogados. He was also an associate at Loyens & Loeff in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In Brazil, Rodrigo also worked in the M&A area of ​​Deloitte consultancy for more than 2 years.

Rodrigo holds a master’s degree in international tax law from the University of Leiden (Leiden, Netherlands – LL.M) (2014); a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Trevisan Escola de Negócios (2010); and a law degree at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP (2008).
